An Indie Comedians Guide to UK Comedy Festivals

As a comedian who does everything himself and is focusing more and more on the festival circuit over the club circuit I thought I’d help my fellow indie comedians who want to perform shows by listing every* UK comedy festival month-by-month. This way you (and I) can see what happens what and where. It’ll make planning your year easier and also I’am adding which festivals open up their applications forms and when, just to make it REALLY organised for people.

I run a podcast called Ask The Industry where I’ve interviewed a lot of these people (and I intend to do more). So please do subscribe iTunes, Stitcher or just browse the list of guests online. I’ve linked next to each festival to say who I’ve interviewed to make it easy for you to find out more about the festival itself direct from the horses mouth.

If you like my work and would like to support it, please do consider becoming a Patreon or donating via PayPal. All this stuff takes time and if it has saved you even a few hours a £1 donation back to me would be very much appreciated.

Simon Caine is a comedian, author, podcaster, writer and social media manager. He's the host of the Ask The Industry Podcast (iTunes link) , writer of jokes for Twitter and teller of gags on the London comedy scene. He's also the person writing this and it is taking all his willpower not to make a "Simon Says" joke.
