Summary of April 2016 –
In April I focused heavily on the tour. I’ve now got 20+ dates in and I am looking at booking 3 theatres to just over stretch myself that little bit further. I also booked 31 gigs in May (which is now 33). This sounds awesome but it’s over 17 days which means I won’t be sleeping much. But enough about May, this is about April.
April I did the Bath comedy festival and had an awesome time [read my blog about it here OR watch my video about it here]. Also headlined a few places and had some clubs I did in the first quarter of the year come back to me to offer me progression / paid work, which felt pretty bloody awesome.
I had a few paid gigs cancel on me which is a bit annoying, but the amount I am earning from writing and gigs is going up which is promising.
I was also quite proud I’ve been juggling my day job and gigging pretty well. The amount of organisation which this has taken has been immense (just for one example, I did three gigs in one night after a 9 hour day of work for the first and possibly last time). It is only by sitting down and going through my Today Lists to write this blog I realised how much I’ve been doing (I always feel like I’ve never done enough).
